Our classes run on Tuesdays in Honingham   

               Village Hall, Norwich Road, NR9 5AP

                      (just opposite The Olde Buck),

          with doors open from 7.45pm, till 10.30 pm.

                            Class evenings cost £8.          

                  Every last Tuesday of the month is

            social/freestyle evening, with cost of £6.

We are also starting a brand new 10-week beginners

 course on Friday 10th may, in Harford Community

centre (10 The Lastings, Hall Road, Norwich, NR4 6ET,

free 4-hour parking at Asda).

West Coast Swing is a linear partner dance, with technique centred around 6 and 8 beat patterns, and weight change footwork. It is danced to a wide variety of music.

It is characterised by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension-compression technique of partner connection, and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. The dance allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together.
